Laura and Greg’s Tribeca Rooftop Wedding was classic, modern, and in one of the most unique locations on earth, New York City!
Laura and Greg were out for a Sunday stroll along the East River with their dogs, when Greg popped the question. That morning, Greg took Laura under the Williamsburg Bridge and asked her to be his, forever. Laura joyfully accepted and the couple began planning their New York City Wedding.
Before their ceremony, We strolled around the iconic streets of New York for some intimate portraits. The bride and groom had their first look around the corner of one of NYC’s classic brick buildings. They sauntered along the cobblestone streets and walked past cafes and construction sites, taking in the views of old world meets new before heading to their venue.
The bride and groom merged tradition with modern style at their wedding ceremony as they said I do under an acrylic chuppah. Used during a Jewish wedding ceremony, the chuppah is a beautifully symbolic four-post canopy. It is a physical representation of the home that the couple will build together throughout their marriage. Laura and Greg’s chuppah was adorned with vines of crisp white orchids gently hanging above the couple. The center of the chuppah was draped by a tallit, which signifies the couple’s reverence for God.
After Greg broke the glass and the couple was announced husband and wife, they made their way down the aisle together. Pausing for a brief moment to enjoy a sip of champagne in celebration! They enjoyed a magnificent reception celebration with their guests, full of delectable delights, and in true NYC style, they topped off the night with ‘a slice’!
