This classically elegant Napa Valley Wedding at Carneros Resort and Spa was black tie chic. Napa Valley is known the world over as a premier region in the wine industry. With its gorgeous sprawling landscapes and mountainous views, it has also become a picturesque destination for weddings.

Lily and Evan’s original plans to wed in 2020, in Paris were, all of a sudden, dashed by the pandemic. The couple made the difficult decision to put their plans on hold. Ultimately, when restrictions began to lift and the pandemic ebbed, they moved their wedding plans to Carneros Resort and Spa.

Of their proposal:

“Evan proposed on a hot summer Friday afternoon on the East River of Manhattan. Lily thought we were waiting to pick up Bennett (Evan’s best man) who was carpooling to Long Island with us. But, “Bennett was running late“. So we got out of the car and walked along the river to stretch our legs. Which is when Evan proposed. His friends were hiding in the bushes and surprised us with photos and champagne. Evan surprised Lily with a helicopter (he proposed right next to the Blade heliport) that took them out to Montauk for the weekend to celebrate.“

All in all, their sun-soaked Napa Valley wedding was shaped by classically elegant details, lush florals, and exquisite decor that mirrored the beautiful surroundings. Lily wore a strapless  Carolina Herrera wedding gown paired with the “something blue” Manolo Blahnik’s made famous for their appearance as Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding shoe of choice. Additionally, she carried an all-white bouquet of crisp statuesque Calla lilies and made her way down the aisle as a string trio played.

Lavish white florals filled the couple’s ceremony space. From floral garland aisle runners to arrangements hanging overhead on their wedding Chuppah. Lily and Evan became husband and wife as a resounding “Mazel Tov” filled the air.
