A summer garden wedding in upstate New York filled with elegant touches and hints of whimsy.
Having begun dating during the pandemic Gena and Adam only went on a few dates before they knew what they found in each other was something deeper and more meaningful. Their first date at a nearby Mexican restaurant in New York was followed by a second. Eventually, the couple was planning their first trip together. Gena and Adam admitted that one month of dating during the pandemic seemed to accelerate their relationship in the best way possible. And, in time, they were moving in together.
After a year of living with one another, a proposal was looming over the horizon. Adam enlisted the help of their friends to lure Gena to a surprise proposal. One that made her believe she was attending a surprise proposal for the other couple. To her surprise, a rooftop view with 500 roses and a romantic proposal from Adam awaited. Gena was absolutely elated at the extraordinary surprise proposal that Adam had in store for her and enjoyed each second of the whirlwind moment. With a resounding yes from Gena, the couple headed back to their apartment to find their parents awaiting their arrival with a bottle of champagne to celebrate the couple’s love. Once the parents were officially introduced (it was their first time meeting), Gena and Adam were off to the final surprise of the evening. An engagement party with all of their friends in attendance.
Knowing how much detail and planning went into the proposal, it should come as no surprise that Gena and Adam’s elegant summer wedding in upstate New York was filled with whimsy, details, and hints of European influence. Soft but impactful hues of watercolor blue and white set the tone for their summer wedding. Whimsical details, such as rattan napkin rings, enigmatic stemware, and oatmeal-shaded chargers elevated their wedding to an elegant affair.
Guests enjoyed a thoughtful wedding day experience with small added touches such as a Limoncello escort display, signature drinks, a generous charcuterie display, and a bonfire after-party. Gena and Adam’s summer wedding in upstate New York at Valley Rock Inn & Mountain Club was a reflection of the couple’s discerning style. Furthermore, it was a fun celebration that reflected their unique love story while also focusing on drawing their guests into an immersive experience.
