A beautiful late summer wedding in Hudson Valley at Troutbeck. Alexandra and Jake’s wedding weekend began with a gorgeous rehearsal dinner at the relaxed meets luxurious getaway nestled in the Hudson Valley.
Troutbeck is a fully revived manor house located just two hours outside Manhattan. It’s an amazing retreat for any couple who is looking to plan their wedding away from the fast-paced city. The private estate has provided a country retreat and a place of rest to some of the great names in American history, such as Mark Twain, Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Teddy Roosevelt. Troutbeck’s natural setting has inspired many and today serves as a wedding venue where enchantment and relaxation set the stage for an illustrious wedding day.
Alexandra and Jake met one evening on a NYC rooftop bar. Their connection was instant and they found common ground in one another. From the beginning, they both knew that what they found in each other was “it”. Their wedding day was a reflection of the joy they find in life together. With the warm later summer sun shining down on them, their closest friends and family in attendance, and heaps of bountiful florals to adorn their chuppah, they became husband and wife.
There was much beauty in the elegant simplicity of the details throughout their day. A strapless Carolina Herrara gown for the bride paired with a cathedral-length veil added a layer of romance to the rose-petal-strewn aisle. Matte black seating cards were lined up impeccably and awaited guests to take their seats for dinner service. It was a night of celebration with a candlelit dinner and a traditional hora on the dance floor.
